MAGHERANA GUNDOGS are run by Andrew & David Carson.
Based in the village of Waringstown, Co.Armagh,
N.Ireland.
MAGHERANA GUNDOGS "WORK FOR A LIVING"
Hunted hard throughout the shooting season,
they must deal with a variety of quarry
including Pheasant;Partridge;Woodcock;
Duck;Hare;Snipe;Rabbits& Woodpigeon.
Our sport demands that we run
"HARD HUNTING GUNDOGS"
WITH "STAMINA" AND "STICKABILITY".
"MAGHERANA GUNDOGS" must be able
to deal with not only wooded areas, in
the pursuit of Pheasant, but also be
capable of hunting the most severest
of blackthorn hedgerow in our search for
the elusive Woodcock.

We only breed to fulfil our own demands.
We are very selective in the choice of
suitable sires for our bitches.
Occasionally, we have available to the
discerning sportsman, suitable puppies,
improving young dogs, and older more experienced
animals..
